Oakmont Management Group is hiring a Medication Technician in California to supervise and assist with medications for residents at Ivy Park at Glen Cove, Vallejo, CA. The role includes coordinating with pharmacies and physicians and maintaining confidential records.

The position requires 1 year of related experience, 18+ years old, and may require training/certification per state rules. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, paid time off, and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• Prefer 1 year of experience assisting with medication at a residential care facility for the elderly (RCFE).
• Based on state regulation, completion of training/certification may be required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent; LVN is a plus.
• Must be able to operate MS Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute medication to residents.
• Coordinate medication services with the resident, pharmacy, and physician.
• Order and track all medication changes, refills, and deliveries with pharmacies.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential resident medication and care records.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
