Mint Hill Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Medication Aide to administer medications safely and accurately, monitor residents’ health, and support the nursing team in delivering high-quality care at our senior living community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Completion of a state-approved Medication Aide training program is preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in healthcare, senior living, or long-term care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately prepare, administer, and document medications according to physician orders and company protocols.
• Monitor residents for adverse reactions or side effects and report concerns to the nursing team promptly.
• Observe and report changes in residents' health status, record vital signs as needed, and assist with basic healthcare tasks.
• Build positive relationships with residents through compassionate care and effective communication.
• Follow infection control procedures, keep medication carts and records organized and secure, and respond to emergencies as needed.
