Responsibilities

• Verify the identity of the resident before administering medications.
• Review medication records for accuracy and proper transcription.
• Follow the rights of medication administration and infection prevention standards.
• Document medication activities accurately in the clinical record.
• Observe residents for adverse reactions and report concerns to the RN Supervisor.
• Ensure medications are stored, handled, and disposed of in compliance with regulatory requirements.
