Job summary

Distinctive Living is seeking a Medication Aide on a full-time basis for the Liana of Venice community. The role involves medication management, ADL assistance, and coordinating with medical professionals to ensure high-quality resident care in a compliant setting.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED, at least one year of caregiving experience, and a valid HHA certification or CNA license, with supervisory experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year of caregiving experience.
• State HHA Certification or CNA License required.
• Six months supervisory experience in a health-related field preferred.
• Ability to read physician orders and match them to MARs.

Responsibilities

• Carry out ADL services according to each resident's service plan.
• Provide medication administration and personal care to residents.
• Document completion of tasks in a timely manner.
• Communicate with medical professionals and families about resident needs.
• Support meal service and assist with dining room duties.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and Bloodborne Pathogen guidelines.
• Follow local, state, and federal regulations for resident care and documentation.
