Distinctive Living seeks a Medication Aide to provide medication management and ADL services for residents at its Venice community. The role reports to the Director of Health and Wellness and emphasizes regulatory compliance, documentation, and cross-team communication.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, state HHA or CNA certification, and at least one year in caregiving, with supervisory experience beneficial. The position offers full-time hours and a supportive team culture.

Qualifikationen

• GED or high school diploma required.
• State HHA certification or CNA license required.
• Minimum one year of caregiving experience in a health-related setting.
• Supervisory experience of six months or more in a health-related field.
• Ability to read physician orders and match to MARs.

Aufgaben

• Follow the resident service plan and pass medications per physician orders and MARs.
• Document task completion daily.
• Note changes in resident condition and report to supervisor.
• Communicate resident needs to other Medication Aides for consistency.
• Participate in meal service, including serving and cleaning dining areas.
• Support staff supervision during shifts as assigned.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing trainings per local/state rules.
• Comply with HIPAA, OSHA, Blood Borne Pathogen guidelines and safety standards.
