Otterbein SeniorLife is seeking a Qualified Medication Aide to join our team in Indiana. The role includes assisting with medication administration, observing residents, and providing personal care in a supportive, resident-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Organize and prioritize daily, weekly, and monthly tasks to meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail in medication administration and care notes.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Patience and fortitude to handle various elderly residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with preparing and administering medications ordered by the physician.
• Observe residents functioning, maintain written records of observations, and report changes.
• Provide personal care services and assistance with activities of daily living as needed.
• Respond to medical alert calls promptly and politely.
• Attend initial training and in-service sessions, and participate in staff conferences when requested.
