Job summary

PruittHealth is seeking a dedicated Medication Technician to assist residents with medications, under licensed providers, in our Union City, GA location. You will support self-administration, verify MAR accuracy, and communicate with pharmacies, physicians, and families to ensure safe care.

This full-time role requires CPR and Medication Tech certification, knowledge of medication storage and safety, and the ability to document actions promptly while following the Six Rights of Medication

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent required.
• CPR certification and Medication Tech certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with medications as ordered by licensed providers.
• Communicate with pharmacies, healthcare providers and families regarding medication management.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document medication administration accurately and timely.
• Monitor for adverse reactions and report changes.
• Maintain proper medication storage, disposal and inventory.
