Spring Arbor of Winchester is seeking a compassionate Medication Aide to ensure safe, respectful care for residents in a supportive team setting. You’ll assist with medications, daily living activities, and engagement, helping create a warm, family-like atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Current Virginia Medication Aide / Medication Technician Certification.
• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Ability to pass a criminal background screening.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Compassionate and resident-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with self-administration of medications according to Virginia regulations.
• Monitor and document resident care accurately.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, personal care).
• Build meaningful relationships with residents and families.
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff and caregivers to ensure continuity of care.
• Support resident activities and engagement.
• Maintain a safe, welcoming environment.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and resident-centered care.
