Distinctive Living seeks a Medication Aide for Monroe Township, NJ (Mira Vie at Forsgate). Per diem or part-time shifts available, including 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, and 11pm-7am, with some weekend coverage as needed.

The role involves medication administration, assisting with activities of daily living, communication with healthcare professionals and families, and adherence to regulatory standards. Strong documentation and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have GED or high school diploma.
• Must have HHA certification or CNA license.
• Ability to read physician orders and match to medication administration records.

Responsibilities

• Pass medications according to physician orders and MAR.
• Document completion of tasks daily.
• Communicate resident needs and changes to the team and families as appropriate.
• Assist in meal service and maintain dining area cleanliness.
• Maintain required certifications and participate in ongoing in-service trainings.
• Comply with HIPAA, OSHA, and Blood Borne Pathogen guidelines.
• Assist with safe work practices and support safety initiatives.
