Job summary

Distinctive Living in Monroe Township, NJ is seeking a Medication Aide for per diem or part-time roles at Mira Vie at Forsgate (Assisted Living). Shifts run 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, and 11pm-7am, with some weekends possible.

The role focuses on medication management, personal care, and communication with medical professionals and families. Applicants should have a GED or high school diploma, 1 year caregiving experience, and state-certified HHA or CNA license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year of caregiving experience preferred.
• State-required HHA certification or CNA license.
• Must be able to read physician orders and match to MAR.Must possess understanding of medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Follow services outlined in each resident's service plan and pass medications per physician orders.
• Document completion of tasks daily and observe changes in condition as per local rules.
• Communicate resident needs to fellow Medication Aides for consistent quality.
• Participate in meal service and assist with dining room duties.
• Maintain required certifications and participate in in-service trainings.
