Distinctive Living is hiring a Medication Aide to provide medication management and ADL support for residents at Mira Vie at Brick. The role reports to the Director of Health and Wellness and follows care plans and regulatory standards.

The position requires a GED or high school diploma, a CNA or HHA certification, and at least one year of caregiving experience. Supervisory duties are included and safety, HIPAA, OSHA compliance are essential.

Competenze

• GED or high school diploma required.
• Must have one year of caregiving experience.
• State required HHA certification or CNA license.
• Supervisory experience of six months or more in a health-related field.

Mansioni

• Provide medication management as per physician orders and MAR.
• Document completion of tasks daily.
• Communicate resident needs with staff and medical professionals.
• Assist with meals and dining room duties.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA and Blood Borne Pathogen guidelines.
• Maintain certifications and participate in in-service trainings.
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations governing resident care.
