Job summary

Distinctive Living is seeking a Medication Aide for a full-time 3p-11p shift at Mira Vie at Brick in Brick Township, NJ. The role involves medication management, ADL support, and coordination with health professionals and families to ensure quality resident care.

Qualifications include a GED or high school diploma, 1 year caregiving experience, and HHA/CNA licensure. Supervisory experience and knowledge of medical terminology are preferred. Benefits are provided by the employer.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year of experience in a caregiving role.
• State required HHA certification or CNA license.
• Six months supervisory experience in a health-related field.
• Able to read physician orders and match to MAR.
• Understanding of medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Follows service plans and passes resident medications per physician orders.
• Documents task completion daily.
• Notes changes in condition per rules and policies.
• Communicates resident needs to other staff.
• Participates in meal service and dining room duties.
• Manages staff supervision during shifts.
• Maintains required certifications and ongoing trainings.
• Complies with HIPAA, OSHA, and Blood Borne Pathogen guidelines.
• Supports safe work practices and assists with investigations as needed.
