• Ability to lift 50 lbs; on a regular basis, or at least 10 times per shift.

Responsibilities

• Administers medication as directed in policies and procedures (excluding injections, g-tube or nasogastric tube meds, and IV meds).
• Performs duties ethically, demonstrates leadership, and maintains resident safety.
• Performs procedures such as vital signs, enemas, and suppositories as required.
• Maintains universal precautions and hazardous chemical safety to protect residents and staff.
• Documents and reports medication errors immediately; counts controlled substances and follows shift-change procedures.
