Job summary

Liberty Health in Blowing Rock, NC is seeking an experienced Medication Aide to administer medications per policy, excluding injections or IV meds, and to support resident care in Chestnut Ridge.

The role requires accurate documentation, ability to perform vital signs, basic procedures, and lifting up to 50 lbs. A NA1 registry and state-approved training are required; background checks apply.

Qualifications

• Registered on the NA1 registry with no allegations of abuse or neglect.
• Complete state approved training including competency evaluation.
• Ability to read, see, hear, and speak adequately to perform responsibilities.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs; daily or per shift.

Responsibilities

• Administers medication as directed per policies; excludes injections, g‑tubes and IV meds.
• Counts controlled substances and reports any discrepancies promptly.
• Performs vital signs and basic procedures safely and respectfully.
• Documents medication administration and reports errors immediately.
