Job summary

PACS is seeking a licensed Medication Aide to assist in administering medications to residents under the direction of nursing leadership. The role requires adherence to facility policies, state regulations, and physician orders, with emphasis on safety, accuracy, and resident comfort.

You will work on-site, collaborate with nurses, physicians, and pharmacists, participate in quality assurance activities, document carefully, and report any adverse reactions or errors promptly.

Qualifications

• Must possess a state-licensed Medication Aide with completed approved training.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret medical instructions.
• Strong documentation and charting skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications to residents per physician orders.
• Document medication administration accurately.
• Report medication errors and discrepancies to the supervisor.
