Job summary

Rocky Mountain Care in Independence, MO, is seeking a part-time Certified Medication Technician. The role is weekend-focused and requires MO CNA and MO Medication Technician certifications.

You will provide compassionate care, respond to call lights, assist with daily living activities, and help ensure residents receive appropriate meals. Responsibilities will include:

• Provide kind and compassionate care to residents.
• Answer residents’ call lights to determine residents’ needs.
• Provide physical support to assist residents in performing daily living activities
• Review dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences to ensure the resident receives an appropriate diet.
• Record food and liquid intake and output as necessary.
• Reporting changes in resident condition to nursing staff.

Qualifications: Position Requirements:

• Must be certified by the state of Missouri as a Medication Technician and have a valid MO CNA
• Must possess clinical, organizational, and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to engage and relate positively to our Residents and their families
• Must work well in a team environment
• Must be energetic, positive, professional, and reliable
