Job summary

The Wellshire Park Place in Milbank, SD seeks a dedicated Medication Aide to join our caring team. You will administer medications, assist residents with daily living activities, and help maintain a safe, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; unencumbered SD CNA certificate; SD Medication Aide training; CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and monitor residents' medication needs.
• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and maintain a safe environment.
• Observe changes in residents' condition and report promptly to clinical staff.
• Provide education and support to residents to ensure comfort and safety.

As a Medication Aide you are the front line of the Clinical Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at The Wellshire Park Place by providing our residents with the medications they need, performing Activities of Daily Living, observing changes in condition, ensuring a safe environment, and maintaining education. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent, an unencumbered State of South Dakota C.N.A. certificate, successful completion of State of South Dakota approved Medication Aide training and C.P.R. certification. One (1) year of C.N.A. and Medication Aide experience is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
