Job summary

The Wellshire Park Place in Milbank, SD is seeking Medication Aides to join our friendly, caring team in Assisted Living. You will be on the front line of the Clinical Department, ensuring residents receive medications, assist with Activities of Daily Living, observe changes in condition, and maintain a safe, supportive environment.

Requirements include high school diploma or equivalent, SD CNA certificate, SD-approved Medication Aide training and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Unencumbered South Dakota CNA certificate required.
• State-approved Medication Aide training and CPR certification required.
• One year CNA and Medication Aide experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve on the front line of the Clinical Department, ensuring residents receive medications.
• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living and observe changes in condition.
• Maintain a safe environment and provide ongoing education to residents.

As a Medication Aide you are the front line of the Clinical Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at The Wellshire Park Place by providing our residents with the medications they need, performing Activities of Daily Living, observing changes in condition, ensuring a safe environment, and maintaining education. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent, an unencumbered State of South Dakota C.N.A. certificate, successful completion of State of South Dakota approved Medication Aide training and C.P.R. certification. One (1) year of C.N.A. and Medication Aide experience is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
