Job summary

Willow Dale Wellness Village in Iowa is seeking Certified Medication Aides to join a friendly, caring team. You will be on the front line of nursing care, ensuring residents receive medications and a high standard of daily support.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, Iowa CNA certification, Iowa-approved Medication Aide training, and CPR certification. One year of CNA and MA experience is preferred and training opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• As a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent, an unencumbered State of Iowa C.N.A. certificate, successful completion of State of Iowa approved Medication Aide training and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Front line of the Clinical Department, ensuring residents receive medications and high standard of care.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and observe changes in condition.
• Maintain education and a safe environment while documenting care as needed.

As a Medication Aide you are the front line of the Clinical Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Willow Dale Wellness Village by providing our residents with the medications they need, performing Activities of Daily Living, observing changes in condition, ensuring a safe environment, and maintaining education. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent, an unencumbered State of Iowa C.N.A. certificate, successful completion of State of Iowa approved Medication Aide training and C.P.R. certification. One (1) year of C.N.A. and Medication Aide experience is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate.
