Job summary

As part of our caring team, you will administer medications per physician orders, document administration, monitor residents’ condition, assist with daily living activities, and support families and staff

Qualifications

• Active 40-hour Medication Aide certification (or state equivalent) required.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Compassion, patience and genuine passion for serving older adults.
• Basic computer skills for medication documentation.
• Ability to work evening shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Safely administer medications according to physician orders and residents' care plans.
• Accurately document medication administration and maintain records.
• Observe residents for changes in condition, side effects, or concerns and promptly report them to nursing staff.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living while providing compassion, dignity, and respect.
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members.
• Help create a positive, supportive environment where residents feel safe and cared for.
