Job summary

Fox Hollow Independent & Assisted Living in Bend, Oregon is seeking a compassionate medication aide to support residents with daily living, medication assistance, and social activities. You will report to the wellness director and help maintain care plans, monitor vital signs, and coordinate with physicians and pharmacies.

The role requires at least six months of senior caregiving or medication pass experience, strong English writing skills, and a commitment to respectful, home-like care for

Qualifications

• Ability to compose reports in English.

Responsibilities

• Complete nursing treatments and monitor residents' vital signs.
• Maintain medication/treatment records and follow guidelines.
• Communicate with physician, pharmacy, and family as needed to ensure timely medication delivery.
• Store medications and keep the medication room clean.
• Follow the resident service plan including ADLs and documentation of changes.
• Demonstrate infection control procedures.
• Support dignity, privacy, independence and a home-like environment.

$.50 evening shift diff and $1.00 NOC

As a medication aide, you assist our senior residents in their daily well-being, including personal services, medication assistance, and social-recreational activities. You will report to the wellness director.

You Will:

• Complete nursing treatments and monitor residents' vital signs
• Maintain medication/treatment records, comply with regulatory, OSHA, and incident reporting guidelines.
• Communicate with physician, pharmacy, and family as indicated to assure medications are received promptly
• Store medications and equipment and keep the medication room clean and orderly.
• Follow the resident service plan including; assistance, bathing, grooming, administering medication, and other activities of daily living (ADLs), noting changes in the resident condition.
• Demonstrate knowledge of and follow infection control procedures.
• Support the dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and home-like environment for residents.

You Currently:

• Typical candidates have six months of experience in senior caregiving or med pass.
