Northern Children’s Services is seeking a Medication Administration Trainer to lead medication administration training in our residential setting. The role includes documenting care, mentoring staff, and ensuring adherence to agency standards and MAR reviews.

The position emphasizes trauma‑informed practice, collaboration with the Generations Program, and ongoing certification upkeep. Strong communication and planning skills are essential.

Qualifications

• BASIC SKILL SETS include strong written and verbal communication, data handling, and computer use.
• Understanding of medications, health issues, and youth services.
• Experience with trauma‑informed approaches in service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Write detailed notes and communicate developments to essential staff.
• Advocate for consumer needs to obtain resources and support.
• Communicate pertinent information to involved parties clearly and effectively.
• Participate in supervision with Program Director and staff meetings.
