Job summary

LifeBridge Health in Westminster, Maryland, seeks a Medication Access Coordinator to help patients access financial resources for medications. You will assess uninsured or under-insured patients, determine eligibility for medication assistance programs, and collaborate with the Clinical Team to minimize financial losses from high‑cost medications.

This role requires effective communication with representatives of assistance programs, patients, physicians, pharmacists, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Preferred Associate's Degree.
• 3 Years Minimum of Pharmacy Retail Technician Experience.
• 2 Years of Hospital Pharmacy Experience Preferred.
• PTCB-certified Pharmacy Technician.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate financial circumstances of uninsured or under‑insured patients.
• Determine eligibility for medication assistance or any available financial aid.
• Act as a patient advocate in resolving medication payment and coverage issues.
• Assess potential qualification for Medication Assistance Programs and Foundations by interviewing patients and reviewing documentation.
• Seek clinical information from patient charts and collaborate with teams.
• Communicate with representatives of assistance programs, patients, physicians, pharmacists, and other stakeholders.
