Job summary

Premier Community Healthcare Grp. is seeking a Patient Access Specialist in Dade City, FL to serve as the primary link between patients, providers, and the in‑house pharmacy.

You will coordinate prescriptions, optimize access, and guide patients from referral to delivery or pickup. The role requires 1–2 years in pharmacy or healthcare customer service, Epic proficiency, and strong communication to assist with prior authorizations and affordability programs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate's degree or completion of an accredited Pharmacy Technician training program preferred.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in pharmacy or healthcare customer service.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Epic certification and comply with annual requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between providers and the in‑house pharmacy to ensure timely communication and continuity of care.
• Identify, enroll, and retain eligible patients in Premier's in‑house pharmacy services to improve access and continuity of care.
• Guide patients from prescription referral through pickup or delivery, ensuring no patient is lost to follow‑up.
• Assist patients with prior authorizations, formulary requirements, manufacturer assistance programs, copay support, and access resources.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect patient confidentiality at all times.
• Support patient education initiatives and contribute to pharmacy growth and outreach.
