Job summary

MercyOne Health System seeks a Medication Access Coordinator to support patients, clinicians, and pharmacists in medication adherence and prescription assistance programs. You will work across product lines to deliver complete adherence services and improve pharmacy operations.

The role requires a CPhT credential, Iowa registration, and at least 3 years of pharmacy-related experience. Day shift, full-time with standard benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CPhT certification and Iowa Registration required prior to employment.
• Experience in pharmacy-related tasks and health benefit investigations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide integrated support to patients, pharmacists, and clinicians by facilitating medication adherence and prescription assistance programs.
• Collaborate with patients, clinicians, and our specialty pharmacy line to deliver adherence support using various tools.
• Perform tasks requiring independent judgment related to patient medication therapy and program administration.
• Liaise between patients, pharmacies, payers, and providers with accountability for follow-through and task management.
