Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a standout leader to manage the Medication Authorization and Access team, guiding prior authorizations, financial clearance for infusion services, and patient assistance programs. You will supervise staff, implement policies, and work across Pharmacy Corp leadership and Ambulatory Pharmacy Services to ensure optimal patient access to medications.

• Experience leading a Medication Authorization and Access team.
• Strong leadership and people management abilities.
• Proven ability to collaborate with analytics, finance, and clinical teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee prior Authorization for prescriptions and financial clearance for infusion/injection services.
• Develop, implement, administer, and ensure quality of department policies and procedures.
• Directly supervise staff, manage performance, and coordinate schedules and training.
• Collaborate with Pharmacy Corp leadership and Ambulatory Pharmacy Services teams to meet goals.
• Ensure timely delivery of medications through effective communication with staff, patients, and providers.
• Maintain strong relationships with clinics and physicians to support patient care.
• Partner with Data Analytics and finance teams to ensure proper payment for infusions and injections.
• Serve on the Quality Management Committee to oversee pharmacy operations and client satisfaction.
