Job summary

Point32Health is elevating how it drives Medicare Star Ratings, combining analytics with strategy to shape performance across Part C and D. Reporting to the Director, Medicare Star Strategy, the Stars Strategy Consultant turns data into insights, builds models, and crafts materials that move ideas from insight to action across all Medicare Advantage contracts.

This role blends rigorous analytics with a strategy toolkit and is ideal for a high-performing analyst or associate from a top-tier firm

Qualifications

• Experience with Medicare Stars, HEDIS, CAHPS/HOS or health plan quality programs.
• Familiarity with CMS Star measure methodology.
• Exposure to health plan operations and value-based / total-cost-of-care models.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute data sourcing, validation, analytics and reporting for Medicare contracts.
• Monitor and analyze Star measure trends and perform root-cause analysis across geographies and provider groups.
• Develop hypotheses and quantitative models to size and pressure-test improvement opportunities.
• Research interventions, benchmark external approaches, and build business cases for prioritizing high-value paths to 4+ Star achievement.
• Identify correlations across data sources to support data-driven decisions.
• Support execution of prioritized opportunities from concept to initiatives with tracked milestones.
• Create executive-ready presentations and reports translating complex analysis into clear insights.
• Build dashboards and maintain data governance for Star-related analytics in Power BI/Tableau.
