Job summary

Jimmy Jazz is seeking a Medicare Sales Agent based in the Spokane, Washington area to educate beneficiaries on plan options, rights and enrollment. You will build community relationships, self-generate leads, and meet sales goals while working independently.

This is a full-time non-exempt position requiring residency within 20 miles of Spokane city limits and active AHIP certification plus a Washington State license. Strong communication and compliance with CMS rules are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in managed care and Medicare, health care systems, and medical administration
• Proven customer service experience and/or provider network referrals, liaison, or similar role
• Engaged with the community through service, organizations, activities, and volunteerism
• Bilingual with the ability to speak, read and write in English and another language
• Current AHIP certification

Responsibilities

• Participate in individual sales activities ensuring Medicare Advantage recipients are making informed choices about their health care.
• Identify, evaluate, solicit, and follow-up with business development opportunities through multiple sales, communications, and marketing methods.
• Maintain understanding of the market served, CMS guidelines, and applicable policies and procedures.
• Build processes and tools to increase member retention and engagement to drive overall membership growth.
• Complete and process all required paperwork and online applications accurately and compliantly to enroll clients in their chosen Medicare plan.
• Provide clear, accurate explanations of Medicare plan features and ensure CMS and carrier compliance.
• Report sales activities and market trends to management with client feedback to improve processes.
• Pass AHIP and other Medicare/carrier certifications annually.
• Work may include visiting senior homes, community centers and hosting community events to generate leads.
