Job summary

CareSource in Ohio is seeking a Medicare Sales Representative II who resides in Ohio. This role offers base salary plus commissions and a sign-on bonus, with access to qualified leads and a mobile territory.

You will educate seniors about Medicare options, build partnerships, and guide enrollment while meeting regulatory requirements. You’ll travel within your assigned Ohio territory to engage communities and drive sales.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED; associate degree preferred in business, healthcare, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Medicare/Medicaid or commercial insurance sales.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office; strong communication skills; bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Educate and enroll Medicare beneficiaries; educate seniors about options while complying with regulations.
• Conduct presentations and marketing activities to inform and inspire enrollments.
• Build strategic partnerships to drive enrollment and sales in the territory.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on CareSource’s Medicare Advantage offerings during enrollment.
• Meet and exceed monthly sales targets while maintaining customer satisfaction and compliance.

What You’ll Do:

• Empower the Community: Develop educational and enrollment opportunities with local agencies, senior resources, and community organizations to ensure seniors have access to the best Medicare Advantage products.

• Engage & Educate: Conduct presentations and marketing activities that inform and inspire, all while adhering to state and federal regulations.

• Build Relationships: Foster strategic partnerships with key stakeholders to drive enrollment and sales success.

• Be a Resource: Serve as a subject matter expert on CareSource’s Medicare Advantage offerings, guiding beneficiaries through their choices during the enrollment process.

• Achieve Goals: Meet and exceed monthly sales targets while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction and compliance.

What We’re Looking For:

• Education: High School diploma or GED required; an Associate’s Degree in business, healthcare, or a related field is preferred.

• Experience: At least one year of experience in Medicare or Medicaid sales, or other commercial insurance sales is required.

• Skills: Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and excellent communication skills are essential. Bilingual candidates are preferred!

Licensure & Certification:

• Current, unrestricted Insurance License in Accident and Health within your assigned territory is required, or the ability to obtain it within 30 days of hire.

• Medicare Fraud, Waste, and Abuse (MFWA) certification required within 30 days of hire.

Working Conditions:

• This role requires regular travel to various locations within your territory, and you should be comfortable working flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

The Medicare Sales Representative (“MSR”) Incentive Plan (the “Plan”) consists of the following:

Base pay

Monthly Individual Enrollment Incentive

Excellence bonus if an MSR achieves yearly quota before the end of the calendar year.

Newly hired MSR’s are guaranteed to receive a minimum incentive amount of $3,000 on each of their first two monthly incentive payout dates (during approximately the first 60 days of their employment).

$47,400.00 - $76,000.00
