Medica in Hopkins, MN seeks a Medicare Reporting Analyst to lead the analysis, validation, and delivery of Medicare employer and broker reporting. You will serve as a subject-matter expert for Medicare data, platforms, and business rules, ensuring high-quality, client-ready reporting.

The role requires 3+ years’ experience, SQL proficiency, and a strong Excel skill set. Office-based with on-site work 3 days/week near Minnetonka, MN or Madison, WI. Competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related field.
• 3+ years of work experience beyond degree.
• Experience coding with SQL.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, maintenance, and delivery of Medicare reporting for employers, brokers, and internal stakeholders.
• Own complex recurring and ad hoc Medicare reports and data feeds.
• Perform complex analysis of healthcare data, including medical, pharmacy, eligibility, provider, and financial information.
• Serve as a subjectmatter expert for Medicare reporting platforms (e.g., enrollment & claims systems and dashboards).
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timeliness through robust validation, reconciliation, and quality controls.
• Investigate and resolve complex data issues impacting client deliverables or financial reporting.
• Partner with business, IT, and vendor teams to design, enhance, and modernize Medicare reporting solutions.
• Lead process improvements and automation efforts to increase efficiency and reduce operational risk.
• Develop and maintain documentation for report logic, data definitions, assumptions, and dependencies.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to other analysts, setting standards for quality and best practices.
• Communicate analytical findings clearly to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
