Job description

Position Purpose: Promote increased Medicare Supplemental Benefit efficiency, service levels, and value by capturing, developing, monitoring performance, and then identifying opportunities for improvement and strategies to realize those opportunities. Develop, plan, lead, monitor, and own multiple, concurrent Medicare Supplemental Benefits utilizing cross-functional teams to deliver defined results and meet company strategic objectives.

  • Own Product Development for multiple Medicare Supplemental Benefits
  • Develop and lead strategies, including financial strategies, member materials, benefit filing, and contracting
  • Identify opportunities to increase efficiency, improve service levels, and ensure regulatory compliance through enhanced operations
  • Develop strategies to realize improvement opportunities, ensuring organizational prioritization and resource alignment
  • Manage multiple benefit packages through full product lifecycle, including requirements gathering, RFIs, RFPs, vendor assessments, benefit analysis, planning, resource management, budgeting, and project execution
  • Utilize project management tools and techniques to effectively manage benefit packages
  • Maintain detailed project documentation, including action items, issues, and risk mitigation plans
  • Provide leadership and communicate status and proposals to stakeholders, including executive summaries and presentations
  • Negotiate with stakeholders to secure resources, resolve issues, and mitigate risks
  • Lead meetings with functional areas and vendors to meet stakeholder expectations and company objectives
  • Provide technical and functional knowledge regarding program requirements and operations

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field; Master’s preferred. 5+ years of project implementation, product, or program management experience. Managed care or prescription benefit management experience preferred. Experience with bid filing strongly preferred.

Pay Range: $86,000.00 - $154,700.00 per year
