The Medicare Program Manager II is responsible for executing, defining outcomes, monitoring, and analyzing data trends of the Iowa Medicare program. Utilizing cross-functional teams, the manager will deliver defined requirements, meet business needs, and achieve strategic objectives.

Position Details

• This is a fully remote position, open to candidates nationwide.

Responsibilities

1. Support initiatives that promote quality, safety, and cost of care opportunities.
2. Gather requirements, create plans and schedules, manage resources, and facilitate project execution and deployment.
3. Use corporate and industry-standard tools and techniques to oversee programs according to Iowa Total Care procedures.
4. Maintain detailed documentation including meeting minutes, action items, issues lists, and risk management plans.
5. Create and monitor department deliverables ensuring adherence to quality standards.
6. Communicate program status to management and stakeholders.
7. Identify resources, resolve issues, and mitigate risks.
8. Improve existing processes by identifying requirements and problems.
9. Coordinate cross-functional meetings to meet stakeholder expectations and business objectives.
10. Manage projects through their full lifecycle.
11. Provide leadership and communicate project status effectively.
12. Negotiate with stakeholders to secure resources, resolve issues, and mitigate risks.
13. Perform other duties as assigned and comply with policies and standards.

Preferred Skills

• Experience leading cross-functional projects in complex, regulated settings.
• Ability to analyze performance data, dashboards, and metrics for program improvement.
• Medicare experience.
• Experience implementing member/provider initiatives.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; 3+ years of project management; healthcare experience preferred.

Salary Range $68,700 - $123,700 per year.
