Job summary

Centene is seeking a Field Retention Representative in the Houston, TX area to retain current membership in an assigned territory. The role involves telephonic and field outreach, participation in community events, and visits to provider sites and member homes.

You will explain and assist with Wellcare products while ensuring compliance with regulatory and corporate policies. The position requires travel, weekend work, and a proven ability to meet quality standards.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year health care related experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of customer service or sales experience preferred.
• Driver's license may be required by some plans.
• Specific language skills may be required by some plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide member resolution by researching, analyzing and documenting inquiries regarding program eligibility.
• Answer questions regarding programs and services to maintain/attract membership.
• Educate members about Wellcare products and act as a liaison between member and Wellcare departments.
• Meet and exceed quality assurance standards.
• Document all interactions in the system (Sales Force, Facets).
• Input and update member information to maintain customer accounts.
