This role is essential in educating patients about their insurance options and ensuring compliance with Medicare and Medicaid.

The successful candidate will need to hold a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related healthcare field, with 2 to 5 years of experience in the healthcare industry being preferred. Excellent communication skills and a strong customer service philosophy are critical for this position.

Compensation is competitive, with a salary range of $46,093 to $70,304, depending on qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

• 2 - 5 years' related experience in the healthcare industry preferred.
• Experience with Medicare, Social Security, and Medicaid systems is a plus.
• Past patient interaction experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Educate and coordinate insurance options for kidney dialysis patients.
• Meet with patients to assist with the Medicare application process.
• Monitor and verify patients' Medicaid status monthly.
• Prepare and review monthly reports on caseloads.
• Complete initial and annual indigent waiver applications.
