Job summary

Centene Corporation seeks a Manager, Medicare Compliance Advisory to guide day-to-day execution of the Medicare compliance program in line with CMS and state rules. The role provides regulatory guidance, conducts research, tracks issues, and supports audit readiness with stakeholders across the organization.

You will translate complex requirements into actionable guidance, develop communications, and contribute to risk assessments, corrective actions, and training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in compliance, regulatory, operations, or risk management.
• ~4+ years Compliance advisory experience (regulatory research, drafting guidance, auditing/monitoring).
• Foundational knowledge of Medicare regulations (CMS guidance).
• Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute Medicare Compliance Advisory program per CMS requirements.
• Translate federal/state requirements into clear guidance for stakeholders.
• Develop regulatory communications and disclosures.
• Prepare regulatory reports and attestations.
• Identify compliance risks and assess exposure.
• Lead or support root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Support audit scope, testing, and ongoing oversight.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for audits.
• Review policies and processes for regulatory alignment.
• Deliver compliance training and mentor teams.
• Monitor regulatory developments and drive improvements.
