Job summary

Centene Corporation is seeking an experienced Manager, Medicare Compliance Advisory to lead and advise on CMS requirements, translate regulations into actionable guidance, and support audit readiness across the organization.

The role focuses on regulatory research, analysis, issue tracking, and coordinating corrective actions with business stakeholders to sustain compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in compliance, regulatory, operations, or risk management within a regulated industry.
• ~4+ years Compliance advisory experience including regulatory research and drafting compliance guidance, risk assessment, issue tracking, auditing/monitoring, and corrective actions.
• ~2+ years experience supporting managed care or Medicare Advantage/Part D programs.
• Foundational knowledge of Medicare regulations and CMS guidance.

Responsibilities

• Execute the Medicare Compliance Program in alignment with CMS and regulations to prevent, detect, and correct noncompliance and FWA.
• Translate federal, state, and contractual requirements into clear compliance guidance for stakeholders.
• Develop regulatory communications, responses, issue summaries, and disclosures with regulators and internal partners.
• Support preparation and submission of regulatory reports, attestations, and filings with accuracy and timeliness.
• Identify compliance risks, evaluate processes, provide risk stratification, and suggest mitigations.
• Lead or assist in root cause analysis and corrective action plans for gaps.
• Provide SME support to audits, testing strategies, and ongoing compliance oversight.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to support audit execution and regulatory reviews.
