Job summary

Centene Corporation is seeking a Manager, Medicare Compliance Advisory to lead day-to-day execution of CMS-aligned programs and provide regulatory guidance to business and compliance leadership. The role supports audit readiness and drives compliant operations across the enterprise.

You will translate federal and state requirements into actionable guidance, conduct regulatory research, track issues, and assist with remediation actions while collaborating with internal teams and regulators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience required.
• 5+ years in compliance, regulatory, operations, or risk management within a regulated industry.
• Foundational knowledge of Medicare regulations (CMS guidance and expectations).
• Certification in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute the Medicare Compliance Program in alignment with CMS and state regulations.
• Translate regulatory requirements into clear guidance for stakeholders.
• Coordinate regulatory communications and disclosures with regulators as needed.
• Support the preparation and submission of regulatory reports and attestations.
• Identify compliance risks, assess exposure, and recommend mitigations.
• Lead or support root cause analysis and corrective action plans.
• Provide SME support to audits and monitoring activities.
• Partner with stakeholders to support audit execution and readiness.
• Evaluate remediation plans to ensure sustainable compliance.
• Contribute to development and delivery of compliance training.
