Responsibilities

• Assist day-to-day billing and revenue cycle activities for Medicare home health patients.
• Review patient charts and documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Monitor records for missing or incomplete documentation and follow up with clinicians and Clinical Managers.
• Prepare and send claims, correct billing issues, and follow up on outstanding items.
• Obtain, track, and maintain physician orders and other clinical documentation.
• Upload and maintain signed orders and documentation in the EMR.
• Communicate with clinicians, physician offices, and internal departments to resolve issues.
• Identify discrepancies that could impact billing, compliance, or patient care.
