Job summary

CVS Health's Medicare Advantage Performance Management team seeks a Senior Manager to lead analytics initiatives, balancing hands-on work with mentoring junior analysts, delivering executive-ready insights, dashboards, and reports.

The role requires SQL, Tableau/Power BI, data validation, and knowledge of Medicare enrollment and PBP structures; you will shape the roadmap and ensure high-impact deliverables.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive experience in healthcare analytics, business intelligence, or informatics, with at least 3 years in a senior individual contributor or technical lead capacity.
• Demonstrated experience designing, building, and maintaining executive-level dashboards and recurring analytical deliverables in a regulated healthcare environment.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and at least one BI/visualization platform — Tableau and/or Power BI required.
• Working knowledge of Medicare Advantage business fundamentals: enrollment lifecycle (BOP/EOP, lapses, new sales), PBP structure, county/submarket mapping, and AEP timelines.
• Proven ability to design data validation, reconciliation, and automation processes for recurring reporting deliverables.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to translate complex analyses into concise executive-ready narratives for senior leadership.
• Experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders including Actuarial, Product, Sales/Retention, and IT/Engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a player-coach, balancing hands-on work with mentorship of analysts.
• Lead high-priority initiatives end-to-end with scope, execution, and stakeholder management.
• Drive results across dashboards, enrollment analytics, and financial reporting.
• Rally the team by setting direction and coordinating contributors.
• Raise the technical bar through code review and automation opportunities.
• Partner with the Lead Director to triage demand and priority roadmap.
• Represent the team in cross-functional groups translating business needs to analytics.
• Translate analyses into executive-ready narratives for AVP/SVP audiences.
• Identify and lead continuous improvement across tooling, validation, and documentation.
• Operate with flexibility in shifting priorities and unbounded scope.
