Oliver Wyman’s Health Practice seeks a Senior Manager with Medicare Advantage expertise to oversee bid development, product pricing, and claims analysis for MA markets. You will guide project teams, manage multiple workstreams, and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field (Actuarial Science, Math, Stats, Finance).
• ASA or FSA credentials required.
• 7+ years of actuarial experience in Medicare Advantage, preferably in consulting.
• Ability to autonomously manage medium-to-large projects with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

• Lead and certify Medicare Advantage bid development (Part C and D).
• Develop health insurance products and pricing analyses for MA markets.
• Set pricing assumptions, trends, and methodologies.
• Analyze medical and pharmacy claims and benchmark to industry experience.
• Conduct feasibility studies for startups or expansions of products.
• Support regulatory changes and implementation.
• Evaluate provider contracts and impact on rates.
• Analyze value-based care and risk arrangements for payers and providers.
• Perform opportunity analyses for improved TCOC and population health.
• Evaluate risk scores and assist with coding/capture improvements.
• Assess care management programs and outcomes.
