Oliver Wyman in San Francisco is seeking a Senior Manager in Health to lead Medicare Advantage projects within its Health Practice. You will oversee multiple workstreams, mentor junior staff, and collaborate closely with top-tier insurers and health systems.

The role requires 7+ years in Medicare Advantage actuarial work, ASA or FSA credentials, and strong skills in Excel, SAS, SQL, R, and Python. A hybrid work arrangement with preferred office locations including San Francisco is offered.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree required in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance or related field
• 7+ years of actuarial experience in Medicare Advantage, preferably consulting
• ASA or FSA credentials required
• Ability to autonomously manage medium-to-large projects with high complexity
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Excellent time management and collaboration skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel, SAS, SQL, R, Python, VBA or similar

Responsabilidades

• Oversee workflow of projects and multiple workstreams
• Support development of team members and their growth
• Interact with clients including top-tier insurers and health systems
• Lead Medicare Advantage bid development and pricing analyses
• Conduct actuarial modeling, benchmarking and regulatory support
• Evaluate provider contracts and risk score coding and care management programs
