Job summary

Centene Corporation seeks a Senior Manager, Actuarial Services to lead Medicare strategy, pricing, and risk analysis. You’ll own tools and processes, guide a small team, and present outcomes to senior partners.

Candidates need 6+ years actuarial experience, ASA or FSA, and strong Excel/SQL/SAS with AI-enabled analysis. This fully remote role offers high visibility and impact across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.
• 6+ years actuarial experience required.
• ASA or FSA designation required; AA membership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to Medicare strategy and planning.
• Own tools and processes for internal users.
• Review and certify MA bids when eligible.
• Train and develop direct report(s) in actuarial skills.
• Apply mathematics, statistics and finance to estimate outcomes.
• Develop capitation or premium rates with various agencies.
• Oversee health plan experience and identify trends.
• Research new business opportunities and legislative impacts.
• Present results to internal partners and stakeholders.
• Lead cross-functional teams to address key issues.
• Suggest policy and procedure changes and perform other duties.
