Job summary

Mesquite ISD is looking for a full-time Teacher for Special Education Medically Fragile Severe Profound ECSE/Life (Achziger) at Achziger Elementary School. The successful candidate will provide instruction and support to enable all children to achieve in the least restrictive environment. Responsibilities include planning individual programs, attending ARD meetings, and collaborating with classroom teachers. Qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree and Special Education Certificate. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
• Possess Special Education Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Teach children with learning impairments to function in a regular classroom.
• Plan programs that meet individual needs and interests of students.
• Attend Admission Review and Dismissal (ARD) meetings.
• Develop and update individual education plans for students.
• Work collaboratively with classroom teachers in formulating teaching strategies.
