Job summary

Medscape, a division of WebMD, is seeking a Medical Writer to support development of Medscape Medical Affairs programs delivered at the highest standards.

The role focuses on creating high-quality scientific, medical, and clinical content for physicians and other healthcare providers, and on developing presentations and other deliverables across digital, live virtual, and in-person formats.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years developing digital, live virtual, and in-person medical education programs for healthcare providers.
• 3–5 years as medical writer/content developer at a medical education agency.
• Preference for Medical Affairs experience and therapeutic-area expertise.
• Strong written and verbal English; other languages a plus.
• Advanced degree preferred; BS in life sciences acceptable with experience.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality scientific, medical, and clinical content for diverse professionals.
• Develop PowerPoint presentations, text-based copy, and multimedia deliverables.
• Ensure alignment with program goals and client expectations.
• Engage with thought leaders to support content development.
• Stay current with literature, guidelines, and therapies in relevant areas.
