Job summary

Daniels Health & Sharpsmart is seeking a dependable, hands-on Plant Operator for our medical waste treatment facility in Sturtevant, WI. You will operate autoclave systems, manage waste processing, and ensure accurate documentation while collaborating with a dedicated team to keep daily operations running smoothly.

The role requires physical activity, the ability to lift up to 55 lbs regularly, push carts up to 200 lbs, and stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• Experience in physically demanding roles is preferred (not required).
• Ability to repeatedly lift, move, and transport materials throughout a shift.

Responsibilities

• Receive, weigh, and process incoming sharps and regulated medical waste containers.
• Operate autoclave system for medical waste treatment.
• Load and operate Washsmart container sanitization system.
• Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment.
• Routinely lift containers weighing up to 55 lbs.
• Push loaded carts weighing up to 200 lbs.
• Complete required paperwork and maintain accurate processing records.
• Follow all safety, quality, and compliance procedures.
