Job summary

Responsibilities include handling medical waste, sterilizing it, cleaning bins, and coordinating third-party pickups. This full-time position on 2nd shift offers overtime as needed to meet customer demands.

Qualifications

• Ability to run machinery and have basic mechanical knowledge.
• Good time management and reliability.
• Basic computer skills for logging and reporting.
• English reading, writing and communication proficiency.
• Able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Experience handling regulated medical waste preferred.
• Willingness to read, disinfect and sterilize waste bins.
• Coordinate third-party waste pickup as needed.
• Conduct monthly testing of sterilization processes.
• Perform minor mechanical work and troubleshoot equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor sterilization technology for regulated medical waste.
• Ensure waste is sterilized and ready for proper disposal.
• Clean and disinfect 31-gallon waste bins.
• Coordinate pick-up and service of treated waste with a third party.
• Conduct monthly testing of the sterilization process.
• Perform minor mechanical work and troubleshoot processing equipment.
