Job summary

Daniels Health & Sharpsmart in Richmond, VA is seeking a Loader/Unloader to support our medical waste transfer operations. This is a highly physical, fast-paced role requiring reliable hands-on work and consistent attendance.

You will load/unload trucks, weigh waste, prepare orders for transport, and complete paperwork on a 40-hour work week. Overtime opportunities and full-time benefits are included for dependable teammates.

Qualifications

• Experience in a labor-intensive or warehouse environment.
• Ability to lift 50-75 lb repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Reliable, punctual and team-oriented with a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks daily, handling regulated medical waste.
• Repeatedly lift 50-75 lb containers during shift.
• Push and maneuver four-wheeled carts up to 200 lbs.
• Weigh incoming waste using the weighbridge system.
• Prepare, pack, and stage outgoing customer orders for transport.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and on time.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Work closely with teammates to ensure transports are ready on schedule.
• Overtime opportunities are plentiful; 40-hour weekly commitment.
