Job summary

Daniels Health & Sharpsmart is seeking a Full-time Field Service Representative to support hospitals across Illinois with medical waste services. This is not a desk job; you’ll be on your feet, lifting containers up to 50 lbs and moving carts, while visiting hospital sites such as McLaren Oakland and Karmanos Detroit.

You’ll work a 40-hour week, Monday-Friday, with a schedule around 7am-3pm to 9am-5pm. Competitive pay of $20-$22 per hour, growth opportunities, and a safety-first environment.

Qualifications

• Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable with heavy lifting and active field work.
• Willing to travel throughout Illinois.
• Team player who can work independently.
• COVID-19 vaccination required for hospital access.
• Diligent with paperwork and procedures.
• Experience in labor-intensive or logistics roles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with hospital staff to ensure safe and timely container exchanges and proper segregation.
• Inspect and service Daniels Health containers in clinical areas, entering spaces near equipment and patients.
• Lift containers up to 50 lbs and push/pull carts up to 300 lbs throughout the day.
• Maintain inventory of containers and keep areas stocked and organized.
• Use a company smartphone to manage tasks, report issues, and communicate with the team.
• Keep staging areas clean and orderly before and after service.
• Represent Daniels Health with professionalism, positivity, and a strong work ethic.
• Be physically active, enjoy on-the-go work, and travel as needed.
