Job summary

Daniels Health & Sharpsmart is seeking a Full-time Field Service Representative to support hospitals across Illinois with medical waste services. This role involves active, on-the-go work on-site at hospital facilities, with heavy lifting and driving between sites.

The ideal candidate will be physically fit, reliable, detail-oriented, and able to travel across Illinois. Vaccination for COVID-19 is required due to hospital access and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in Dearborn, MI at hospital sites.
• Full-time schedule, 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri 7am–3pm.
• COVID-19 vaccination required for hospital access.

Responsibilities

• Working directly with hospital staff to ensure safe and timely medical waste container exchanges and proper segregation.
• Inspecting and servicing Daniels Health containers in clinical areas - this includes entering procedural spaces and working around sensitive equipment and patients.
• Lifting containers (up to 50 lbs) and pushing/pulling carts (up to 300 lbs) throughout the day.
• Maintaining inventory of containers and ensuring all areas are stocked and organized.
• Using a company-provided smartphone to manage tasks, report issues, and communicate with your team.
• Keeping staging areas clean and orderly before and after service.
• Representing Daniels Health with professionalism, positivity, and a strong work ethic.
• Someone who's physically fit, comfortable with heavy lifting, and enjoys active, on-the-go work.
• A team player who can also work independently without direct supervision.
• Strong attention to detail - especially when it comes to paperwork and procedures.
• Reliable transportation and a willingness to travel throughout Illinois.
• A can-do attitude and previous experience in a labor-intensive or logistics role.
