Job Title: Medical Value and Outcomes, Health Ecosystem Lead

About the Job

The Medical Value & Outcomes (MVO) team member serves as the medical scientific lead for population-based healthcare decision makers to facilitate scientific exchange on disease state management and the value of Sanofi Specialty Care products. The role involves driving optimized care pathways for health systems to improve patient outcomes, providing insights to internal teams on key evidence gaps, and executing research, education, and collaborations per SOPs. This position is portfolio-based, covering therapeutic areas within Sanofi Specialty Care, including Neurology, Immunology, Rare Blood Disorders, and Oncology.

The position supports strategic and cross-functional alignment to support patient care pathways and access within health ecosystems (IDNs, quality organizations, health plans). The MVO Ecosystem lead collaborates on developing Medical Plans and strategies to integrate and advance communication with the specialty community. Reporting to the MVO Population Health Lead, this role is part of the North American Medical team.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Serve as medical scientific account strategy lead for prioritized national health ecosystems.
  2. Develop and implement strategic account plans for engagement with IDNs and other organizations.
  3. Oversee and coach regional MVOs in account strategy and stakeholder engagement.
  4. Develop initiatives, KPIs, and medical plans to build credible scientific partnerships.
  5. Lead development and execution of medical account plans aligned with Sanofi strategies.
  6. Facilitate scientific exchange and provide access to medical and economic information.
  7. Share customer insights and evidence gaps to inform product development and engagement strategies.
  8. Identify key contacts within medical, payer, and advocacy organizations.
  9. Lead stakeholder mapping and cross-functional partnerships.
  10. Support scientific advisory boards, conferences, and cross-team coordination.
  11. Develop and deliver field tools, resources, and training.
  12. Mentor fellows and students.
  13. Execute evidence generation activities and manage related budgets.
  14. Coordinate population health activities with therapeutic leads.
  15. Support local healthcare market opportunities with commercial teams.
Other Responsibilities
  • Lead research partnerships and RWE/health outcomes studies.
  • Contribute to outcomes research presentations and publications.
  • Provide internal training on scientific and health policy data.
  • Offer strategic input to senior leadership.
About You
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
  • Advanced knowledge of the US healthcare system and biotech development.

  • Knowledge of HEOR, biostatistics, and evidence-based medicine.

Educational Background/Experience
  • Doctoral degree (MD, PharmD, PhD) preferred; other relevant degrees with experience acceptable.
  • Experience with IDNs, GPOs, or population health strategies.
  • Managed care or specialty pharma experience preferred.
